Quitting, one more tme

Need more time to study.

Bye,

Daniel
For us musicians, the music of Beethoven is the pillar of fire and cloud of mist which guided the Israelites through the desert.  (Roughly quoted, Franz Liszt.)

Was it something I said?  Oh.  nevermind.  You get the floor (Alistair thinks I'm going to be a lawyer someday).  *Gavel down.  Dnephi's turn to speak.

I keep trying to quit, but it is harder than giving up smoking.

Coming on here every night and insulting pianistimo has become addictive.

If you do manage it, i say well done.

Several of Bob's students wander into the room.  "How do you get the floor?"  One student tries to lift up the floor, "Get off the floor!  It's mine!"   Another hugs the ground.  Several others imitate.  Other students pull their legs up on their chairs so they don't violate the apparent floor supremacy of the first student.  Bob shakes his head and tells them to "just go stand on the wall."  The students look around in utter confusion.

Favorite new teacher quote -- "You found the only possible wrong answer."

No, I didn't say that and I don't think it either; writing "unless you're planning on a career change into the law" is not the same as thinking that you're going to be one someday

*Gavel down.
That's for the judge (or the auctioneer)...

Dnephi's turn to speak.
Dnephi hasn't taken that opportunity, so now it's pianistimo's 12,120th turn to speak (though not "in tongues", please...)

Best,

Alistair

"Manage" what? The above could be taken to read "if Dnephi manages to come on here every night and insult pianistmo", although I imagine that this was not quite what you meant - after all, why not leave that to the experts?

If quitting the forum is, in your view, harder than giving up smoking, should we assume that your knowledge of this stems from your having given up smoking? If so, you clearly have considerable determination when you put your unique Thalbergian mind to it. What might it therefore take for you to quit "coming on here evey night and insulting pianistimo"? - or would that be just too much to expect?

That said, my advice to you is not even to consider quitting the forum; Pianostreet without Thalbergmadness would be abit like Chopin without the piano...

I have decided to give up insulting pianistimo as of 12 o clock tonight GMT.

Indeed i have been horrible to the old witch and i amazed i have not been banned or warned.

I have an extremely short fuse with happy clappies, but in future i will debate calmly.
