Paganini Rhapsody
on: December 12, 2007, 10:33:01 AM
Does anyone know the approximate grading for the original piano part from the 18th variation of Rachmaninov's Paganini Rhapsody?  When I say original piano part i mean the piano part from the proper score, not the various simplified adaptations that exist for this particular variation.

Thanks

You need 4 hands to do this without adaptations.

I played it last year (and probably shouldn't have done, but never mind) - it's about Grade 29, all of it.

Well, all right, the very opening is probably Grade 3 but it all goes horribly wrong about 30 seconds later.
Instrumentalists are all wannabe singers. Discuss.
