Rach site- problems?
on: December 27, 2007, 10:53:03 PM
Having stupidly deleted my entire collection of Rachmaninoff recordings, I went to the site https://classic.chubrik.ru/rachmaninov to download them again, but although the site still exists, and file sizes etc are given, there seems to be no way to actually download the files. Is this only a problem on my end, or is it a general thing?

Try again. It's working now but there are only low quality rm files available  :'(

But not only...
You can download all the mp3's as follows:
1. Go to https://classic.chubrik.ru/rachmaninov (or https://classic.chubrik.ru for other composers).

2. Select recording you want to download. You are redirected to page where you have all the files listed with its sizes, lengths etc.

3. At the top of the page there is a Winamp icon (lightning like). By clicking on it you can download Winamp playlist .m3u to you computer.

4a. Open it with your Winamp player, go to playlist right click on title, select File properties or something like that (I don't have an english version) and there you have direct path to mp3 file which you may download with your internet browser or download accelerator.

4b. Or open it with text viewer eg. Notepad and you will have paths for all the mp3 files to download.

5. Forgive my english.
