Composition section

We should add a composition forum where members can ask for advice etc.... It'd be cool I think.

What kind of advice would you ask for?

Sounds great to me!
I write music - and could hopefully be a small help
and could also use help sometimes too.

I would be interested. I don't compose much (1 piece so far, for a school assignment), but it could certainly be helpful if/when I start composing more complex things.

Later this year I need to do a composition that I spend at least 50 hours on, for a massive school project, so I was thinking I'd do a full Sonata or something like that.

There are some very good composition forums already in existence but it would make a nice addition to this forum.

Perhaps it could be incorporated/related to the Music Theory Board?

This has been discussed before: https://www.pianostreet.com/smf/index.php/topic,21050.0.html
I think a separate board for general music discussions, also including the Music Theory board is the way to go but haven't yet been brave enough to change the quite well-working structure we have had since the start in 2001.

The "Audition Board" can be used for compositions.

Is it possible to post voice in audition section? Or somewhere else?

Yes. Voice is an instrument and can be a composistion. You can also discuss it in the Instruments board.
