Liszt's transcription of Schubert's Ave Maria, recorded on a Yamaha C4.

Enjoy,

No comments yet?  Then I will.  I hadn't heard this piece before and I liked it a lot. It really takes off after the initial opening theme and I like te sound of the piano.  I have been working on Liszt's arrangement of Standchen.  I look forward to starting this one but no music yet. James.

I always loved how he developed the theme and took it to typical virtuoso heights - it's what got me into this piece as a kid.  Glad you liked it; Standchen is a gem too.

Your playing of this piece is really nice.  Where do you find the music for this?
