 hey lost!
 welcome.
prokofiev died in 1953, hence his work is well under copyright.

It's pretty hard to find Prokofiev these days... They had his Sonatas up on sheet music sites, but they've all been taken down.

I dont know... but if you're looking for them to learn the pieces, you should definitely get a good urtext version, like Boosey&Hawkes, though its a bit expensive. International has the complete set as well.

Oh, hit me.. I didn't knew it.. XD

Oh, gawd.. Boosey & Hawkes is really expensive..  :-\ Though I found Prokofiev's book that contain small works of Prokofiev.. (Four and Ten Pieces, Etude, Sarcasm, Vision Fugitives.. etc)

So, I won't EVER found it?  :'(

His piano sonata is REALLY awesome. :'(

Prokofiev is not modern. And he is rather easy to find on the internet, compared to a lot of truly modern composers.

Btw, I have all of his piano sonatas. But he is copyrighted.

Why don't you just order the Dover?  I don't think each volume is more than 10 dollars, and you can get it from Amazon.com and possibly even Buy.com.  It's a worthwhile investment.
