i have a humble upright (otto halben) that was very important to me until like two years ago. now i use a digital yamaha (clp-240) that gives me what i need: always tuned, always regulated, and with a volume knob.
however if someday i move to a house again, the first thing that will get into it will be a grand (bed, table, wife...all should wait). but that's very unlikely... :P

I play a Baldwin Model L Artist Grand (6' 3"), which I love.  Before that I owned a Steinway Model M, which I also found to be a great piano.

But, personally, I have a 12-foot Thruway.  It came with a toll booth to eliminate the need for a box office.

I'm not sure of the brand of my piano, I can't really remember, but it sounds German. It's upright, has a broken soft pedal, it's out of tune, and the keys are a bit chipped.

It is ok, but only because we can't afford a new one, or even a set of new strings so that the piano is in tune. It's so old that we can only tune it to itself, otherwise the strings will snap.
