Anybody ever heard of this Dutch contemporary composer?

More specifically, has anyone ever heard of his 5 Etudes from 1961...? How difficult are they in comparison to other etudes?

I'm taking part in a competition in Octiober where three of his etudes are compulsory works in the semi-finals... haven't got the music yet though.

That's cool! Haven't seen or asked for the music yet... I thought we had to wait until they confirmed our acceptance in the competition... or are you buying the music yourself ?
I'm sending my application today.
