Teaching Diplomas
on: January 21, 2008, 04:23:55 PM
I have been teaching piano for some years, but am now taking ALCM teaching diploma in Nov. Anyone doing the same or done so recently? Would like to hear your experience, hopefully good !

I took an ARCM teacher's exam from the Royal College of Music a long time ago. Apart from the tough playing requirments, I had an indepth interview and faced specific questions about my teaching approaches. Overall, the experience was quite positive and the ARCM title has helped me in my career. Good luck.
