haha I don't have them...but good luck with them!

Have you tried the version of the 24th caprice? It's totally insane, but such good fun! Those 10th in the LH are a killer!

actually I want to try the campanella on this version (somehow can help a lot to prepare yourself for Hamelin's campanella) you can notice so many places that are quite similar to da DOC version.
the 24th caprice one is also crazy...the 1st variation already kill me with the chords pattern instead of arp go down  8) 8)
have you tried 4B?
Here you go
thank you so much!

I actually prefer the earlier version of La Campanella as it uses more themes. Perhaps though, i am bored by 10,000,000 pianists pulverising the latter incarnation.

No doubt that the 1838's are more difficult and lack a decent recording.

I have tried any of them myself. I have just watched a friend play the 24th caproce version, and guessed it was insane. Then I looked at a score, but didn't actually try it. I want to do Busoni Campenella, I think it is slighlty easier than the Liszt version, except for the last page maybe. But I find it more interesting. I don't care to much for the Hamelin version that much  :( Although the piano writing is remarkable in places I must say.
