If you have a juicer and can make juice fresh, my favorite is four golden delicious apples juiced with a quarter of a lemon. Drink immediately while still gold colored--fresh apple juice is unstable and changes color quickly.
CRANBERRY...with vodka of course.
In no particular order. Tropicana is expensive as hell though and its probably not PC to mention a brand here but meh.
Mandarin - getting easier to get in the supermarkets these days, hurrah!
I would do my food shopping in farm shops were there any in my area... being a non-driver who works scary hours, unfortunately I have to go for convenience rather than ethics, which is a shame but such is life.
Ribena rules.Thal
Mango and Banana mmmmmmmmmmm nice.
It "rules" what, exactly? When last I was in France, friend gave me a bottle of cassis produced in a part of the Charente very close to where I was staying and where she lives; I was abit aghast at its rather high alcohol content (20% as distinct from the usual 15-18% for this kind of product), but I've never come across any cassis that bursts with quite as much rich blackcurrant flavour as this one does. My friend discovered it at a lunch party hosted by the local chasse (and, much as I deplore hunting as used to be done over here in UK, at least the French in that area hunt for food rather than pests) and she was told that it's sold at the local Intermarché, which fact should tell you something about how some of the French supermarkets have a localised autonomy on purchasing compared with our largely uniform centrally-bought Tesculture over here.Best,Alistair
Thanks for your short answer. Most Scots will not drink anything unless it has a high alcohol content.Thal
weeeeee dram.
Do these many e's in this case signify a more significant or a less significant amount of actual alcoholic input?
Are you a non-driver by choice or for any other reason?
I have trouble making sense out of the "juice" labeling; i.e., you try to buy a specific juice like cranberry but it's labeled "juice cocktail, at least 5% cranberry juice from concentrate and 3 other juices"
I'm very lucky to have excellent public transport in my area.
While I was a student it didn't make financial sense to learn to drive,
and once I went out and started earning I decided I'd rather have a deposit for a house than buy a car.
And... I've got very used to being a passenger! Being able to sit and read a book while commuting, or just sit and day-dream... it's nice!
You probably saw the real thing. Pure Cranberry or Pomegranate are the best for you (prostate, etc.) and are very expensive; but unfortunately, without the fructose and stuff they aren't as pleasant tasting.
