Grade 1 piece
on: January 27, 2008, 04:31:56 PM
This is Andante from the ABRSM selected piano exam pieces. It's on a keyboard, and the sound is very muffled- but I hope it's ok?
I was wondering about what mark would I get for this? And what can be improved.
Thank you

Notes where right, but the long sustained notes simply do not work on this electric keyboard and thus if you sounded like this on a real piano in exam you would lose marks.

My Step-daughter played this piece for her Grade 1, last year.
Yours sounded very controlled.
I think "lostinidlewonder" is right about the quality of instrument, but we can't all afford real pianos.
I thought it sounded very good.
