I saw him, elisha abas, that is perform at Carnegie Hall in November 2007 and I must say he is an undiscovered gem

He plays like the pianists of the golden age - i.e. Alfred Cortot, Hoffman, etc.. I am seeing him tomorrow night at Baruch Performing Arts Center at 8:00 - he has a monthly series through the end of May. This man is in my opinion, the greatest pianist, I have heard in a long long time, probably since the days of Horowitz. What is also unique about him is the performance was a sold out show and he had mostly young people in the audience who gave him four standing ovations before intermission.
I highly recommend if anyone in this forum is in New York tomorrow to see him.
