identification of two pieces
on: February 01, 2008, 09:17:28 PM
hello guys,

recently i was watching this Maria Pires documentary and was astonished of two pieces played in it.

https://www.stage6.com/user/cvxmelody/video/1176201/Maria-Joao-Pires-(pianist)-documentary

the first piece is shown at 7:54  and the 2nd piece is played at 12:28.

Thanks in advance for any hints leading to the identification of these pieces.

You are good!
For us musicians, the music of Beethoven is the pillar of fire and cloud of mist which guided the Israelites through the desert.  (Roughly quoted, Franz Liszt.)
