I need help!
on: February 12, 2008, 10:08:20 PM
Hello everyone, I've played piano for two years. I have a problem. :( My right hand is so slow. What can I do? I am looking for etuds for my right hand. I want to develop myself.
And I wondered that is it possible to make my piano's accord myself? (My E sound is very bad.) Or not?  ???
And when I pushed some keys, the sound was being repeated.
Altough I push the keys once, the felt hits the strings twice! ??? :(
Sorry for my English! Thank you. ;) :) :-[

What exactly do you mean?

Hmm, I think this isn't because of you, rather that your piano is old and maybe not in top form :)

My teacher put me on Czerny and Hanon etuds. I think they're very nice, for both hands.

Thank you to everyone to answer me. :) I was taking piano lessons but now I dont take I'll start again in summer. :( But I want to improve myself. I am not beginner, I think I am advanced.

My piano is new. We bought it two months ago. It is Heilmann (German). I am pleased but sometimes I've problems like I told.  ???

Some keys' chord are very bad. E sound is different. I dont understand chording, but I can understand that E sound isn't normal. Can I do something? I think I could tell  ??? Sorry for my English.

I think what you need is a teacher to put in track again. Do not wait the summer. If this is not possible may be some Czerny might be good and scales.
Good luck  :D

i don't think it's you. your piano is probably old and out of tune. just get a new one or hire someone to tune it for you. about your slow left hand, keep on practicing simple excercises. start out slow and then  build your way up to a faster and more difficult level. i should know. i have been playing piano for six years and i did the same thing with exercise thing. my piano teacher told me to do the exercises slowly at first and play the correct notes. she told me that it is better than playing it really fast and all wrong. :D ;)
