Your missing the point, these people need help, I'm sure a lot of people today are alive due to the fact that they were lucky enough to be rescued. Yes no doubt some individuals may commit suicide for attention, revenge is one, for instance a women learning about her husbands afair with her best friend would commit suicide so that her best friend lives with that pain for ever ( It's not that un-common.)
