Chaminade
on: April 25, 2004, 02:23:49 PM
Have anyone played Chaminades - Automne (Etude de Concert)?

Would like to hear what people think of this piece (hard to practice? etc...) And if someone have the notes for this - if they could send a copy to me?

Thanks
To be or not to be - that is the question!

I've never really paid much attention to her. Any music of hers that you recommend listening to?

Chaminade is, basically, a composer of "salon" music - but of the very highest quality. It's a dream to play and a pleasure to listen to. Sample anything by her and, if you appreciate beautifully-crafted, tuneful music, you won't be disappointed! Why not try the 6 Etudes de Concert, op.35 which includes "Automne" ?
