Great Standard Romantic Repertoire for competition

I need a large romantic piece that is important that would suit my temperament and style and can not think of anything that jumps out at me.  Could people post their favorite pieces in case I have left out some music that may interest me?  What else is there besides the standard Brahms, Chopin, Schumann, Liszt and Rachmaninoff sonatas?  Any ideas??

Bach-Busoni - Chaconne

Early Scriabin sonatas #1 through #4.  Also the Fantasy Op. 28

Medtner - His works are fabulous.   Forgotten Melodies cycles Op 38, 39, and 40.  Sonatas - I'm sure you'll find something "big" in there.  "Night Wind" is the meatiest of the bunch, although probably not the best to start with if you haven't done Medtner before.

Have you checked out Chopin Rondo Op. 16?

Scriabin sonata no.4 is considered in the other period of his life, so that's definitely not romantic. But I agree for all the rest of the post!

Brahms op. 76- I forgot about that one and the Franck chorale prelude and Fugue-I am already going to be using Scriabin 5th sonata in my program so two sonatas seems overkill.  I'm also playing Schumann Davidsbundlertanze and I wanted another major standard work.
