Chopin, Pianist and Teacher

This is an English translation of Carl Mikuli's foreword to his 1879 edition of complete Chopin works (Mikuli was a pupil of Chopin's). Particularly noteworthy are his accounts on Chopin's performance practices and teaching methods. The original German version is supposed to be longer - anyone have it (and kind enough to translate) ?
