my teacher force me to play bach for the last two years maybe 2.5 years sometimes some clementi ,a beethoven sonata but 80% bach well -tempered clavier it been hard ,but something is happening to me that i don't know how to explain ,went i start a new preludio 0r a fuga is like i have done this before ,2 years ago it used to take me 2 or 3 month to learn a preludio or a fuga but know some how i get a new piece and i can have done in 2 to 3 week, i wonder im getting to a point where everything is going to be easy for me ,this is getting very very interesting .can i get your comments please.

I read somewhere that the WTC was considered the foundation of musical education for pianists for a long time -- Mozart for one knew it well. This was at a time when the general public wasn't into Bach that much. So your teacher is a throwback to an old tradition. Glad to hear you're enjoying it, I never get tired of it.
