Superstar Etudes
on: February 29, 2008, 01:13:30 PM
Hey everyone:
I want to know where I can buy these etudes, of which there are two, but I can't find a website.
This is a video of the first.
If some new scholarship arrives, demonstrating that it was, in fact, written long before 1930, and is therefore not under copyright, someone should feel free to email me the score at d.nephi.baker@gmail.com
Regards,
Daniel

For us musicians, the music of Beethoven is the pillar of fire and cloud of mist which guided the Israelites through the desert. (Roughly quoted, Franz Liszt.)

These were written by Aaron Jay Kernis, who is one of the best young composers of today, in my opinion. He is very much alive, so needless to say his music cannot be posted here. Also, I have heard that these etudes are out of print, so it's all the harder to find them.
