Paul Ben-Haim-----Toccata
on: March 03, 2008, 09:36:58 PM
I believe this went out of print a while back. A teacher friend of mine used it--it is a great piece----hope someone can help me find a score. Thanks!

I think it is available from Israel Music Institute (IMI).
(My own Toccata was also published by IMI)
The last I knew they were represented in the USA by Boosey and Hawkes 24W57 NYC10019, 212-757-3332.
If you get nowhere with them, I can contact IMI and get current information for you.
I can also scan the music and send it to you.
In the meantime, you might enjoy listening to my rendition of the PB Toccata... attached.
Best wishes,
Rami

Take Your Seat! Trifonov Plays Brahms in Berlin

“He has everything and more – tenderness and also the demonic element. I never heard anything like that,” as Martha Argerich once said of Daniil Trifonov. To celebrate the end of the year, the star pianist performs Johannes Brahms’s monumental Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Philharmoniker and Kirill Petrenko on December 31. Piano Street’s members are invited to watch the livestream. Read more
