on: March 04, 2008, 03:56:29 PM
hey everyone! My friends and I were planning to form a band lolz! The problem is...I need to be the keyboardist since i've learnt piano till grade 4. However, its already been 2 years since i visited the piano at home. We were planning to start off with a few choices of songs...

1- Somewhere Only We know by Keane
2- Apologized  by One Republic
3- Jenny by Click 5

I already covered apologized....but i am having difficulties learning Somewhere Only We Know as there is no one teaching me....I got to learn apologized by youtube. Somehow i can't do the same for Somewhere Only We Know and Jenny. I need help...Anione can teach me? I need to learn Somewhere Only We Know as soon as possible....

Hi,
This is not a dig at you, but if you have learned Piano up to grade 4, could you not just read the sheet music for it? All I can suggest is reading it very slow HS to start with and takling it bit by bit. You could also use the performances on youtube as a guide if you are having problems, unless you know the song well already.
Do you need help locating the sheet music? If so check your pm's.

Hi,
PM = personal message. They are shown top left of the site once you are logged in. I think they are just shown as 'messages' on here but on many forums the word is PM. Anyway yeah have a look at the message I sent you when you have time.
     Good luck.
