Has no. 2 ever been played at the Chopin competition? It seems that no. 1 is somehow more representative.

No.2 has been played sometimes, by prizewinners too, but I don't think any first prize played it ...

1 is definitely the bigger work.
Start with 2, because its easier and I think it is also a more refined composition.
