What is sightreading, part 2 :p

Ofcourse i know what sightreading is, but since sightreading is a hell easier if you already heard a piece a couple of times, is 'never heard that piece before' a part of the prima vista (sightreading) termology?

So, if you have to proof yourself infront of a jury for your sightread abilities, is it fair if you already heard the piece a couple of times, compared with another student who hasnt heard that piece yet?
