Second hand digital piano
on: May 01, 2004, 11:35:07 PM
Hi,
Can anyone tell me what a reasonable discount on a 2 year old digital piano is?
I can get a new Yamaha P120 with stand for $1960. and a 2 year old one for 23% less, that is $1500
Is this an ok price? or should I rather go for the new one?
Thanks,
Trigi

is that U.S. dollars? because i thought the price on a new P120 was pretty close to $1500 U.S. dollars. of course if you mean canadian dollars, thats a totally different story....and i also don't know how much stands cost.....but if you can get a used one in good condition for 23% off, then i would say go for it, who cares if it's not new!

The prices are in American dollars, but I live in Norway and the instrument prices are about 30% higher than in the US.
Thanks for the tip.. I'm thinking about warranty, and how fast the value drops on this kind of instruments.
around 20% might be quite right though.
