Kapustin - Etudes

Does anyone have the scores for this? It would be super.

Otherwise, some preludes or chambermusic would also be nice :p

He is alive. Buy his music like any moral person would.

Or get them from your local or university library, if they have them or have access to inter-library loan.

Moral people also do that sometimes. 

The truth of the matter is that very often one only wants to take a look, which does not justify buying the scores.

This music is fantastic, so if you have the patience to read it, by all means, buy the scores.

I would really suggest buying if you have the money though. Zen-On, Mus-T, and Kapustin himself all need the money so they can all keep publishing scores. Mus-T most especially needs the money, for they are in the LONG process of eventually publishing all of Kapustin's works, but have only done a small amount at a slow pace. But yes, I'm sure an ILL would suffice, but Kapustin's music might be hard to find in even the best libraries.

I don't, if you're referring to me (which I know you are), without buying them. I buy all of my Kapustin sheets.

I tried the music library here in Stockholm which have a vast collection of scores but couldn´t find it. I found the etudes on Zen-On and the cheapest was almost 50 euro, shipping excluded. I don´t mind paying but it´s a bit over the top. For me atleast.

I ended up paying over $80 USD for two Kapustin books from Zen-On, but it was worth every penny. Zen-On is a very good publisher and their music printing is top notch. I wish I could say the same about Mus-T.
