What's the pleural of pancreas?

Please, enlighten me, and pardon the pun in the spelling of plural.

For us musicians, the music of Beethoven is the pillar of fire and cloud of mist which guided the Israelites through the desert. (Roughly quoted, Franz Liszt.)

That's the price you pay for being moderate in everything. See, if I were you, my name would be Ilovepie. But that's just me.

Yes, we have two pancreata. Ours are diffuse and spread along the dorsal mesentery and we can not clearly differentiate the dorsal and ventral lobes.
Sharks, Necturus, and more basal vertebrates have two separate lobes which form as evaginations off of the duodenum.

two lobes count as one right?
we have two lobes of pituitary (anterior and posterior) but we say we have one pituitary. or I'm wrong?

I suppose you're right. They are just one pancreas, but they have two lobes. I don't know about the pituitary- I haven't run into that one yet in dissection.
I'm a Physics/Biology double major going into Biophysics in grad school.
