How to sharpen the mind?
on: April 24, 2008, 03:04:39 AM
Because I'm lazy and I'd rather not put in much effort.  So if the mind is sharp... I can just kick back and continue my illustrated book on sea cows intead of actually working.   8)

I don't like work and effort apparently.  At least not after a certain point.

Mental challenges.  That's probably part of it.  Stressing the mind.  That probably doesn't feel great.  Stress and heal up, just like the physical I'm thinking.

Eliminate distractions.  Stop taking detours.  Stop being interested in everything else.  Train the mind.  Too mcuh of that will get dull though.

What else?

You're being serious right?  I remember another post about undies.

Maybe I should save some time by not bathing and stuff.  Become a nudist too.  Save time and money on laundry.  I can be like that pic of the naked guy contemplating life in front of the computer.  Statue of David variation I think.

The mind has to be used often to get sharpened.

I see I found what I'm looking for.  Bouncing ideas off people seems to help.  Just the act of asking has something to it.  Frees up the mind.  Then the answer comes along later.  Like now.

But... this is the answer.. if anything is pushed too far, too much, etc., it can get broken, or it can just wear down.

If it's like the body, it can be strengthened.  Except it's chemical and electric, but same idea.  Push and recover.  Over an over.

I just neglect the recovery.  And that's just time and sleep really.  And easing back into things.  The hard part is doing nothing or doing less.

And it takes a lot of effort over a long time.  Which really may not be worth it.  You spend a ton of time (your life) sharpening and preparing, but if you never use it, it's not really all that worth it.  So you have the world's fastest sportscar.  If you never drive it, does it matter?  Maybe so, if you just want to a really great working engine and aren't concerned about trips.

oh bob! u got it rite on the money! nudity=nature, pure beauty, as is-ness, humility, and unpretentiousness.

hence not only it opens up the feelings of that precious moments and dimension that otherwise will not be experienced, but also it surprisingly sharpens the works of mind, body and spirit.....

Yes, cellulite is beautiful.

I was just thinking about saving money on laundry.  Plus... Just think of the potential income from all that advertising space.  Same places would be higher in value of course.

Actually, dressing nicely probably does help to focus a little bit.

the combination of cellulite, body hair, complexion, body contour, muscle tone, etc, etc is indeed marvelous to witness..it's an art. again, you get it right, bob!

yeah, we can buy a computer set or two with that laundry money that we all have spent on since hmmm...little...i mean...very little..?

dressing nicely? ...sure, sure. "look at me, i am clothed with BOSS, GA, DG, Taghuer... ", "see that little motives at the tips of my Versace shoes". yeah, yeah, yeah......but...
