The Chinese century?
on: April 24, 2008, 06:39:40 PM
If the 1800's was t'he British century,' the 1900's 'the American century' then certainly without a doubt the next century will be 'the Chinese century'.  What do you think the next century will look like with a non-democratic and government in power? Do you think that it will be better? worse ? or just the same? One thing is certain, the power is shifing from the west to the east and its going to be a very different world.

Don't forget India.

Whoever comes up with the best technology will have the advantage I think.

And if they treat their people well, they won't last in the long run.

I think things will change too with more connections in the world.  Maybe 'the century of the world' instead of one country.
