Best exercise for...
on: April 25, 2008, 07:40:21 PM
I weigh about 140, and a couple years ago I weighed 240.  But because I lost so much weight I've been left loose in a few places, and was wondering if you guys knew the best exercises for the three areas that I'm still doughy in  :-X  I need to start working out.

Underarms, love handles and butt.

Running, running, and running.  There's no way to burn fat at one specific place.
For us musicians, the music of Beethoven is the pillar of fire and cloud of mist which guided the Israelites through the desert.  (Roughly quoted, Franz Liszt.)

I amend my statement: Running, swimming, biking.  Excellent way to prevent injuries and work all major muscle groups.

Find the exercise that works for you.

Eat less.  Exercise more.

I think there's only so much you can do.  Aren't there places where you just collect fat?

Just tighten up the slack on muscles by using them.  Whatever will use and push those muscles will do that.

Easy one for the arms.  Lift a weight stright up over your head, bend at the elbow and let the weight and your arm go back, then lift it back up.
