on: May 24, 2008, 05:49:37 AM
can you please tell me what pieces or studies i should start that will advance me? i can play 3, two part inventions, 1,2,8. Valse #10 by Chopin. Sonata #1 of mozart. and i'm learning fantasie impromptu of chopin.  i've read almost all the little studies of czerny , i've worked to perfection and memory to # 34. could you like tell a piece i could study from each period, from baroque to contemporary. i started when i was eleven, now i'm thirteen. also please tell me something hard...i mean some stuff that will require from 4 to 6 hours of practice. any help is much appreciated.

Why don't you post a recording of yourself so that we can get a more accurate impression of your level (this is hard to know from a list of studied repertoire alone)?
