Ideas for creating strange sounding music

Like placing a computer mouse on the strings of a piano.  The mouse will move when the strings vibrate.  Mouse movements are mapped to software like PD which is programmed to generate sound based on movement.  Sounds are samples of vehicles running backwards on grass while weed wackers attempt to trim the decorative garden rocks and Arensky works on recording more material for his lawnmower piece.

My dishwasher once made a almost symmetric 4/4 pop beat. Wish I would have been able to record it.
