Getting more music gear
on: May 26, 2008, 07:21:39 AM
what would you do to convince people you live with that you need more music gear to practice with?

Say you played tuba in a brass quintet, but you didn't have your own and had to practice on a pink plastic recorder instead?

Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

In this specific case I would make as much noice possible with the pink plastic recorder until the patience of my family ultimately ran out, then illustrate how beautiful and soothing a tuba would sound in comparison.
