Stanley Piano
on: May 26, 2008, 07:16:30 PM
I own an old Stanley Piano, and I am looking for some clarification.  It has been in my family for years, and I am looking to sell it.  However, I am trying to figure out the specifications of it.  The only information I can find on the piano, is and imprint of "Stanley Toronto" and a model number (I think) of 6403.  It is a 56'' upright.  I was wondering if anyone can help me find how much it is worth.

Hi bb,

You might want to post your question on Piano World.  Go to www.pianoworld.com, click on Piano Forums, then Piano Forum.  There are many technician/tuners there who appraise pianos all the time who could estimate the general value.  I would tell you though that 100 year old uprights fetch very little money if any.
Interpreting music means exploring the promise of the potential of possibilities.
