Let it Be
on: May 30, 2008, 07:20:47 PM
Hi ,

My favorite song is let it be by Paul Mcartney and I am playing it on the piano. It is the real version and is really hard because of the sharps and flats. Sad.

wow
For us musicians, the music of Beethoven is the pillar of fire and cloud of mist which guided the Israelites through the desert.  (Roughly quoted, Franz Liszt.)

This should be incentive for you to develop your transpostition skills. Imagine being able to analyze the harmony of a piece and transpose it into, say, C Major.

You may be able to find a simpler version of the work in question online. Try www.sheetmusicplus.com. Good luck.

You CAN learn to play the piano and compose in a fun and effective way.

That makes it especially hard to play sharps and flats...

If you can do so much more with so many less notes, why not?  A piece doesn't have to be overcomplicated and virtuosic to be great.
