dear all!
thank you very much for your attention and suggestions. let me explain further my needs. the idea to start is to choose 10 etudes as different as i can. then, from that list, my teacher and i will pick up the least complex to start, and then proceed to the others. since my nearest goal is a graduate audition in the end of the next year, i have a year and a half to play those etudes, and to choose like 4 or 5 to really master.
let´s recap the suggestions:
chopin's opus 10, nn. 3, 4, 5, 8, 9;
chopin's opus 25, nn. 1, 2, 6, 9;
liszt's TE 1, 2, 12;
liszt's PE 5.
i think that cover both composers. i was thinking, and i want to have 4 or 5 chopin, and 1 liszt. so, that represents half way there.
to complete my list, do you think there are etudes of similar difficulty among rach's or debussy's? among debussy's, it will be kind of perfect playing his octave etude, but i'm not sure if it's too much for me now. what do you think?
anyway, let me thank you all again, because you are very helpful.
best!
well
