How old are you?

I broke six in high school, but at age 55 the effort and pain involved in running an 8:30 mile is now significant.

my best was like 10:00 around my freshman high school year, in elementary i think i managed an 8:00.

About 20 minutes for me. If I'm pushing myself.

22-25 if I don't.

But I can still run.

How many adults do you see running? I'm not in perfect shape, but I don't want to be worse. I don't think I have much choice. I'm guessing not everyone is actually capable of running, just with age and body shape. Scary really.

i'm pretty sure that short intense workouts offer different results than long anti-intense workouts.

I am the ultimate suck at running distance.

I can sprint like a motha, but the other day, I tried running around my house a couple times and about passed out I swear to god. And I'm in good shape (145 lbs, learning liszt) etc... If you can run a fast mile, you may as well be playing a godowsky etude....
