Fantastic, Josh.  :)

I had never heard this piece before until you posted a video of it awhile back while you were working on it.  It makes me want to learn it.

Your dynamic contrasts, a hallmark of your playing, are always impressive.

I love how it just moves and moves and moves. It's always spinning forward, with much Purpose and Decisiveness. Highly refined. Bravo!

What do you think?

I have to admit, I chuckled a bit when you asked this. I think you already know the answer  ;) . . . Well done.

Honestly I'm not fishing for compliments by asking that, but thank you for yours!  I asked that because I know everyone hears things differently and I can't assume the answer is that everyone agrees with my interpretation.   ;)

@Goldentone.  Thanks!  You should learn it then!  It's been a very rewarding experience for me to play something as challenging and culturally diverse as this!

lol - I'm sorry, I wasn't insinuating that you were  :). It's just very very well done, and I hope that you're pleased with it!

BRAVO! Your interpretation has wit and class.

One of my past teachers is a specialist in Spanish music and I heard her play this many times.  You definitely have put much work into this.

How do you play that double note section at the very end, before the final chords?  Where the notes cascade down from the top of the piano?

Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

Pretty well I think! haha  but seriously, are you talking about what fingering I use or...?

Oh...!  I must mention in case anyone wants to listen for it... If you listen to the very last note (E) I play with the LH at the end of the piece, you can hear an E at 20.60Hz.   :o  I played this on an Imperial 290 and was adventuresome that day so that last E is an octave including the black-note E at 20.60Hz.  8)

I didn't exactly HEAR that note (20.60Hz), but I FELT it.  Fine playing.

Ya, what fingering?  Do you divide between hands or play as written?

I thought that final E had more umph than I usually hear it  8)

I play it as written:

RH: 5^2 - 1^4 - 1^2
LH: 1^2 - 1^3 - 2^5

I'm familiar with this piece.    I think you bring a fresh new approach to it.
