Granados - Quejas, o la Maja y el Ruiseñor
on: June 06, 2008, 04:25:59 PM
This is such a beautiful piece. I'm wondering does anyone have the sheet music to it? I know the Sheet Music Archive has it up, but I'm looking for a different rendition, perhaps with fingering? If no one actually has it, can anyone point me to a good edition, hopefully with fingering?

Thanks!  :)

de Larrocha's Edition has her fingering, but I don't have that score.

Granados Quejas o la Maja y el Ruiseñor, from Goyescas:

Thal, how very interesting.  You happen to collect opera as well?

I would be most obliged if you happen to have the whole vocal score for Goyescas and elected to post it, as it informs greatly a reading of the piano pieces related to the same subject matter (which preced the opera/zarzuela).
Money does not make happiness, but it can buy you a piano.  :)
