Richter piano competition- live broadcasts

The richter competition in Moscow has just started...for anyone who's interrested, you can follow it online here:

The finals will be broadcasted live in BBC from what I've heard. I have a very good friend who's participating so it's very exciting - I'm hoping that it will go well for her! But the level there is of course extremely high

My version of Windows Media Player doesn't like that link. Any suggestions?

I can't help but think Sviatoslav Richter is rolling around in his grave at the naming of a competition after him...seems far away from where he stood.
Don't let anyone know where you tie your goat.

Really bad synchronization of audio & video. In one clip the female contestant was still walking to the piano yet  music was already started.

In other clips it seems like the audio was randomly changing to different pitches during a performance; as if the audio were being recorded  on a cassette tape that kept speeding up and slowing sown.

Difficult to get a true impression of the performers.
