I have never "room-mated" with anyone, even as a student, so I guess that I'm somewhat unqualified to answer this question; I'm flattered that anyone might want to mention my name in such a context, although I'd be wise to bear in mind the need to take due care about little white doves by ensuring that my two cats are not allowed to share the space, for little white doves would have but little short lives with them around!...

^ I was actually thinking about that, Bob. I think that some people are probably just good writers/good at getting their ideas out on "paper," so to speak, and that's why I'm attracted to their thoughts. It would be interesting actually attempting to carry out a conversation w/ everyone - to see if  they're different in person and whether or not you just read into their posts/interpret them differently than they intended. There would probably be people you could carry out really good chats/threads w/ online that you couldn't talk to in real life. . . I wonder if that would be awkward or just expected. . . maybe a combination of the two.
