How many recording artists have recorded it?

I prefer Vladimir Ashkenazy's interpretation of it: just the right tempo so it doesn't drag like so many other artists.

Did Ravel really record this piece?

I'm sure it's a piano roll so there is some limitation to the sound, but I still love the tempo and the rubato...
