Garritan Steinway - any users?
on: June 18, 2008, 10:29:38 PM
Hi, all!

Does anyone here use the new Garritan Authorized Steinway virtual instrument?  How does it stack up with other piano vsti's?

Also, if anyone has Synthogy Ivory or Quantum Leap Pianos, I'd also appreciate comparisons with Garritan Steinway.

I use Kontakt Grandeur... which I think is rather good. Haven't used Garritans Steinway, but I'm rather happy with what I have.

I am using CFX by Garritan, in LITE downloadable (and HDD space saving) version. I have tried around 5 VSTs, and CFX is simply amazing, natural sounding. I have tried Pianoteq, Galaxy Vintage D and other pianos from suite, I wasted money for Kawai EX PRO, True Keys Fazioli. You want steinway, but GFX is simply best VST I have ever had.
