Creative Writing
on: June 19, 2008, 08:24:58 PM
I'm bored. I've just read a boring book about Creative Writing. I thought we could start one of those annoying word threads that involve creative writing instead. Although...nothing that will get you banned!

I already did alterations in a quote in "how do you read a book?"

Aren't there like a million of these threads?

What exactly are you thinking? . . . like writing a paragraph a piece/sentences. . . ?

I'm all for annoying word threads  ::)  :P.

Well I'm really bored...so you can either write a paragaph or sentence. Not a single word, there are already several of them going.

Frankly, I don't believe in the concept of "boredom."  On this earth in this lifetime, there's actually way too much to do.  You're probably overwhelmed by the innumerable trivial things you must do to get through the day  -- and, therefore, procrastinating -- OR, you're afraid of doing the significant ones for fear of failure.  Write a post about that dilemma.

(There.  That's my contribution.)

One hot summer day, although I KNEW that I couldn't possibly BE bored, I still perceived myself as such. . .

Frankly, I don't believe in the concept of "boredom."  On this earth in this lifetime, there's actually way too much to do. I personally see myself as a boring person.  You're probably overwhelmed by the innumerable trivial things you must do to get through the day  -- and, therefore, procrastinating -- OR, you're afraid of doing the significant ones for fear of failure.  Write a post about that dilemma.

Aren't you a bundle of joy?

I am bored. Boredom exists. I currently have nothing to do except tell you I have nothing to do and be bored at the same time.

One hot summer day, although I KNEW that I couldn't possibly BE bored, I still perceived myself as such. . .

Unusual...you suffer from that same thing that can't possibly exist? Is "boredom" merely a figment of our imagination? Maybe we should go to the doctors and get pills for our unusual symptoms.

I was playing into your silly little game (humoring you, some would say), but, alas, I won't do so again.
