I think my lack of balance has given me a knack for falling down.  I've been told I'm very graceful when I fall and am back on my feet in an instant.  Also the delicate skill of not-quite-falling, where it looks like I SHOULD fall, but with a little teetering, a twist of the spine and flailing of the limbs I'm back to normal.  A bystander might think I spontaneously busted a crazy move.

I'm also pretty good at my job, drywall taping.  The bar is disappointingly low around here, but I genuinely enjoy my job most days.

handwriting analysis sounds interesting.  I always thought it was neat how we all learned to form the same letters from the same templates, then everybody developed their own style.

Are we really that good at something else other than piano? Because the only thing right now that I'm good at is none. Really. I'm not that smart anymore.  :-\

i wanna see a picture of it!

wait, one needs a high speed camera to capture the gracefulness of that not-quite-falling-down falling down? and of course element like being in-the-right-time, at-the-right-place, and having a rather skillful photographer watching every move you make...er, maybe aint so easy afterall

Language. I'm quite sure I can express myself presicely and eloquently, write well (both in Czech and in English) and analyze linguistic problems (in Czech way better than in English). Same thing goes for literature analysis, although not as confidently.
I also think I'm not lost with people. I can lead a reasonable group without seriously messing up.
I might be relatively good with math and logic, too.
When part of an organizing team, I'm usually the guy who points out the hundred pesky little problems and goes on solving them. I think I'm reasonably good at that, too.

However, I'm naturally much more aware of my shortcomings in the aforementioned fields of endeavor (plus piano) than anywhere else... ;D

Me too, I can sleep like a pregnant cat!

 ;)

I'm going to have to start paying attention to how people write.  My piano teacher's letters are perfectly spaced, level and clear with just a little bit of frillyness.

Mine communicates a reckless impatience :P  In highschool my notes were notoriously illegible.  Clearly I didn't care if anyone could read them, myself included...  Never did care much for all that pointless note taking.

I've been working on my farting skills, but I still can't get good consistant brappers. :(

Fixing stuff! Fixed the piano in the interval of tonight's concert - too bad it was only after someone else had played the Tchaikovsky first concerto with one note not working (could have been worse, though, it was a G natural and the piece is in 5 flats). The conductor nearly laid an egg when he walked past and saw me with the action on my lap. But it got me through Petrouchka!

Well, it is more cheek control as opposed to gas production althought the latter is of some minor importance.

Try sticking a gold club between your butt cheeks and walk around with it without dropping it. This is good practise.

For instance me and many others at this forum have commented on how we think your playing is world class. You may dissagree with us, but some of the members here are not exactly unqualified to give an opinion on your playing.

What I obviously ment was that an university professor of history would know more about history than a lay man. And that the history-professor therefore is more qualified to give his judgement on wether or not me or you have got our history correct.

When I was young, I was pretty decent at chess. I was 5th in the European under-14 championships, which I'm more proud of than anything I've managed to achieve on the piano. Also I was 5th or 6th in the national adult championships when I was 17.  Not exactly Magnus Carlsen stuff, but not bad either.
