A belated very happy 4th!

On a side note of marginal relevance, how rampant is obnoxiety in bookshops around the Independence Day? They are the only places around here which stay calm throughout the whole year. Even during the Christmas shopping spree. Dang, I want to work in one.

I'm still trying to decide whether I prefer a month and a half of insufferable Christmas commercialism to the incessant explosion of fireworks for 2 weeks.
