Replacing Damper Springs
on: July 06, 2008, 09:26:19 PM
Hi all,

I've just posted a blog posting here, that details the procedure I used to recently replace a broken damper spring on my cronky old upright piano.  Just thought that this might be of interest to other readers, and would welcome any feedback on the contents.

I'm looking to replace various bits and pieces on this piano over the coming months, and will document on this blog if anyone's interested.

I'm not a technician (not even particular useful with tools etc...) but some of you might find it interesting to read (or even pass on some handy hints and tips!)

Cheers
