Strange Arpeggios

whenever I play arpeggios, there always seems to be gap when cross over/under my thumb to play them >:(. I use the correct fingering for them, is there somthing wrong with me? please help :(

When playing arpeggios, remember the motion of the elbow: clockwise, or counter-clockwise.  Upwards arpeggios are helped by the elbow moving clockwise, and downwards by the elbow moving counter-clockwise.

That's normal.  There is nothing you can really do about it because of the shift but there are ways to minimize it.
