Alot of my music is hard, no easy versions or anything. I can play most things buuuttt its always good to have some simple, easy pieces to play for fun, or just to fill gaps!!!!!! Anyone got any i would be V V greatful

I have recently scanned a lot of classical/romantic ditties and posted on pianophilia.

None of it has probably been played for 100 years and just about all can be played by people with average abilities.

Also, check the Salon thread on the same site.

i was just wondering about alternatives to a 19th century music recital, that will include hardcore mainstream (chopin's opus 38, brahms' 119). anyway, i really want to have something unusual, to add a bit of salt.

Some easy, unknown or little known, gorgeous pieces that I love:

I don't think you can get more unknown than Alfredo D'Asdia. His Largo is beautiful.

Henselt's Little Waltz, Op.28 No.1 is pretty easy.

Blumenfeld's Preludes, Op.17 Nos. 11 and 21 are on the easy side.

His 24 Preludes Op.17 rival Chopin's in loveliness.
